Hey guys, aceofspades459 said that you guys have to join over at the allied forums so you can PM him your information. I'm not totally sure whats going on, but everyone should join there, and PM him to make sure everything works out perfectly.

So does anyone know what vendors will be there this year? I looked on skirmish's site and I didn't see a list of them.
It just says "All the big names in the business will be here".

Me and three of my buddies are going also, I made the reservations about two weeks ago. I've been trying to get all my gear up to date since it's been awhile sine any of us have played. Anyone know anything about night vision? Looking to byy either a scope or monocular, binoculars but looking for some tips before I buy something that's so expensive. We went to ION a couple of years ago and played for the American side and got tore up at night by people with night vision, want to avoid that this time.

Full color thermal imaging with a fold up LCD is the way to go, and how I do it. I'm a sniper and will be there. But at $10,000 a pop, you might want to look at just the green screen monocular (much cheaper). Binoculars are hard to use with a paintball mask, so avoid that.

honestly i don't think you'll need night vision.

the night games are always just about base defence and just bigg masses of people holding and taking ground.

just shoot where everyone else is shooting

unless you get into some special missions taking you away from the groups

I know I would never get night vision, because I hardly ever play in the dark.

Last year, I didn't play in the dark at all, but I might try it out this year.

I dont think I will, I just want to save some paint since im only buying 1 case. im pumping all the time and not giving any away. maybe ill just limit myself to a hopper every time i go on, or just carry 2 pods total instead of the normal 4.

I'd still fill up all 4, because that'll be less trips back to the car/locker/camp to fill them back up.

but my tank can only shoot 1 hopper and 2 pods. so why carry all the pods when i can only use 2 of them?

Because than you only have to go get your tank filled, and only have to go fill up your pods half as much.
