I have a smart parts ion and i wanted to get another hpa tank. I really dont like having the bulk 62/3000 gorilla air and i was wondering if the new crossfire SS 68/4500 tanks were worth the price.

Yes they are. I swear by Crossfire tanks and regs. My home field got the prototype stealth regs to test out. After they were publicly released I had one put on my 92/45 and no problems. The recharge rate is excellent. My home field put one of the tanks with new reg on their rental A-5 with response trigger and it was able to keep up. If I remember right we actually had to turn down the responsiveness.

Another good thing about the SS tanks is that if you purchase one by July 31 you will not have to pay to have it re-hydroed. If anything, I think you will have to pay shipping.

I have never tried a Crossy, but Ninja paintball makes awesome paintball tanks. If you ever have a problem with them, they have crazy good customer service as well. Also, their regulators are completely rebuildable by the user and you can switch it to low or high pressure

I love my crossfire tank. I ended up putting a new reg on it because the original one was a little long, but the SS is nice and short so I'd say go for it.
Damn it feels good to be a gangster.

All the newer ones should also have the low profile fill nipple. I got my new reg just before they released the new fill nipple. When I get a chance to get back to Crossfire though, Chris is going to take care of me.
