I sacked my self... several times... that sucks... and I don't mean just the ooh that hurt for like 13 minutes type of getting sacked... I mean like couldn't walk for like a day. Not exaggerating.

You sacked yourself? Several times? WHY?

My worst injury? A few cuts here and there.

HA! Yep. In our group, seems like the tippmans are jacked up. I get hit with spyders, JTs and Ions and hardly ever get bruised. Seems I always get bruised when hit with tippmans. We play private land and need a chrono. The tippy users try to turn them down all the way, but you can see they are shooting faster when you put them side by side with other guns. So yes, they hurt.

I was sprinting down a path and my knee hit a 4 inch wide tree stump. I did a 3/4 flip through the air and my 98 custom landed hard on a rock. The gun was fine, my knee is now permanently changed. It's not bad and barely noticeable, but it did change my gait for a while until I got used to it.

It's kinda like those metal balls that go click clack. Paintball hits one ball, one ball hits the next, that ball goes flying out. Think about it

Minor concussion due to excessive bonus balling to an unprotected part of my head (yes, I was wearing a mask... the balls just hit my head above it)

Or re-tearing ligaments in my shoulder. I had torn out the ligaments about a week ago when I dislocated it the first time in a training accident (not related to paintball). It was in a weakened state when I went to play paintball and I fell/rolled on it, repeating the process.

Granted the second injury story could have just as easily happened doing anything else, so it's not really a "paintball injury."

AT I.O.N @ Skirmish two years ago, I was on the beach and making a mad run up to the beachhead where the other team was. Me and a bunch of other guys were about to punch through their lines. I slid at a full on sprint, and my shin ran over a partially burried boulder that ripped my pants leg open and left a nice big 5 inch gash in my leg along with scraping off a bunch of skin all around it. The next morning my leg was black and blue from the bottom of my knee to the top of my boot.

Edit: I have been sacked a few times by painballs too, but never to the point where I had to sit out of a game.

My first year playing, it was winter, using a rental running from one bunker to another when I turned my torsoto the left, I dont think I streched enough, and as far as I can figure I tore either cartilage or muscle that attaches your sternem to your ribs. Im sure it lookd like I was shot for real, it droped me instantly and I couldent move for about 5 min. Thank god it was the last game of the day. then had to ride home in a Land Rover...bumpy! when I got home 2 1/2 Vicodin worked very well. It took 2 months before I could laugh again. Last year I herd about a guy that BURNED TO DEATH in his gillie. I cant rember what started the fire but dang.

Ya know what else. I just got home from TRYING to go to texas for a scenario and ya know the movie The Thing, with Curt Russel, aka Snake Plisken, It was snowing that hard! I mean it was &%#$)! nuts! If we were in any thing other than our team captan forge's ford 4X4 Super duty we might have died. 1500 miles and NO PAINTBALL! We had to turn back! 3 other team members were gonna fly out but Ohare was closed.
