The F7 board will go into sleep mode after 30 seconds of non-use. Once in this mode, it takes an extra trigger pull before the marker will fire. This happens in scenario/woodsball games and the length of time between speedball games is more than 30 seconds as well. Off the break it always catches me off guard. This feature is annoying and hinders my performance. Whether I'm in the woods or on the speedball field I like to be able to snap off quick shots. The sleep mode doesn't let me do this. Is there any way to keep the board from going into this mode besides shooting more often?.

Unfotunately, I do not believe there is a simple fix to that. It annoyed me as well on my Fusion. The only thing I can think of is to switch to an aftermarket board that does not have that feature. I do know I have not noticed that problem with my G3

Hmm, I didn't know the F7 had that setting. I searched, but couldn't find anything helpful. And like Chaos said, I kno my G3 doesn't have it, but you could always get a new board if it really bothers you. I was also thinking you could call DP, they could have a solution for you.

TY that is a pain but it could be worse.

I remember when my buddy had the Tippmann WAS board in his A5. That board would turn off after so many minutes. He'd go into a game and just after the count down to start he'd be walking around looking for a small enough stick to poke in the hole and turn the board on.

I remember the those days with the A-5 WAS board. The key was to carry a small allen wrench around without losing it...

The only thing I could think of is a new board. You can buy a Seventh element board for 99 dollars I think. Pretty cheap compaired to most. From what I've heard it's a good board.

Ape should be coming out with a board soon ($85), or you can get the virtue board for $150

You could also talk to Dangerous Power and see if you can get an F8 stock board for cheap. I don't think it goes into sleep mode.

Are you talking about the power save feature?
Cause that's a 10 minute time...
And it's only an extra trigger pull. That shouldn't hinder any performance.
My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.
