Product: Fusion Ultra Lite pants and jersey set
It was July 15th, in the middle of the Utah dessert, 105 degrees, and I am soppy wet with sweat from my previous game in the SPPL regional event for the Midwest 2005. I made a daring move for the Swing base flag, sliding in behind some barrels and got tagged in the chest on the way down, bummer, but not to mention the real bummer. My favorite paintball pants, some real tree pattern light weights that I have had for over a year now, well they busted out the right knee on my way down. Now the day sucked.
Rory saw my knee and said he couldn't have a Spec Ops mod walking about in rags like that. I shrugged him off and went away pouting about my pants. But as the game ended and I was watering up for the next round, he comes at me again but with Pants in hand. I looked at em, fondled them, pondered the purchase, and agreed, No self respecting Spec Ops boy would be caught looking like I did at that moment. So I bought them and a Jersey top to match. Ran back to my camp and yanked off my rags. Put these on and Smiled ever so slightly.
My mind went to the small holes all over the jersey.( dreams of making this my base for a future ghillie loomed heavy). A slight but ever so slight breeze russled the leaves in the field beside me. I began to feel the awesome cooling effects of these holes that are part of the jersey design. The pants too have them. I was looking good and feeling great now. My team mates began checking out the new digs and commenting on them. They were doing the trick.
My biggest like is well here is the list
1) woodland digi pattern rocks
2) Battle swab pockets on the legs
3) supper reenforced Knees and elbows( no more blow outs on power slides)
4) slylish cut and roomy design
5) Ever so cool even in the hottest of hot days.
My team has been pondering the route to take with uniforms for some time now. I have shown them the light, we just may have the new S.P.U.D.S. Look right in my very own gear bag.
Props to you Rory and Spec Ops for bringing the best of the best to woods ball.
Leg cuff has a string that you can tie the cuff(blouseing tie) its too long and caused me to trip, so I took them out, the athletic cut is enough for me.
The jersey has no velco backing for patches on the arms. You have to put it on your self.
Very few belt loops on the pant, but they do have their own draw string so a belt isnt really needed.
I play with a camel back M.U.L.E. pack and a Mantis 3+2 pod pack. I put these on and then my jersey over the top. My team mates didnt even know I had my pod pack on till I showed them.
Very generously cut for the sizes.
6'2" 185 LBS
I wear the Mediums
All photos taken were with the pod carrier on. In the show and tell photo, you can see my shotgun rod/battle swab in the leg swab pocket.

Just to let you all know. The fusion ultralites run a big baggy. Also the arms are a bit longer as the Football mesh fabric hangs straiter as compared to the ripstop.

might want a large pant though. I am not fat but those pants can be tight over the cheeks sometimes, but once on they are fine. There is not very much give in the waist line. Just a draw belt on the front.
