A good link. But there is more information needed as well.

CO2 will get you more shots per volume than HPA but is less consistant. High speed firing will cause shots to drop off since CO2 cools as it expands but needs warmth to expand fully.
a 12g CO2 powerlette will get between 20 and 30 shots.
A 9oz CO2 tank will get between 460 - 690 shots.
A 20oz C)2 tank will get between 1000 - 1500 shots.
**actual shots may vary due to gun type, configuration and atmospheric conditions**

HPA will depend on the pressure and the cubic inches(ci) of the tank.
if the tank is 3000psi then you multiply ci by 10. So a 68ci tank will give you about 680 shots.
A 4500psi tank is by 15 so the same sized tank will give about 1020.
and a 5000 psi tank is by 20, so it would give you 1360.

The down side to HPA is not all fields do HPA fills and those that do may not be able to fill all tank to the proper psi. So if you have a 5000psi tank and your field can only do 3000psi then you loose the full benefit of the tank.

I was also sure this type of info had been pinned before.... But it doesn't seem to be.

Not a bad find, although there are uber efficient guns like vikings, which will get 2k shots off of a 68/45.

In 1970 the Chevy Nova was created. This was the worst selling car in Mexico because the words "No va" mean "Doesn't go". If you would never buy a Saturn Ion because the word "Ion" means "Doesn't shoot", Put this in your profile.

A SL-68 will get 12 shots of a 12 gram... And thats not even blowback!

A stock phantom gets 30-45.
A bobbed and devolumized phantom can get up to 55ish...

Just adding to that last "may vary"

That is pretty cool. It is fun looking at how many shots you would get out of a 1000ci tank. lol

k then, i have a question. I have 2 20 ouncers and I only get 450-500 shots out of them, and my gun is a 98 custom in perfect shape and the only upgrades are a 16" Knockout barrel and a double trigger. Any explanations to this, my buddies is the same way too, but everbody else seems to get around 1 K shots out of theirs?

20oz co2 tanks can yeild 1000+ shots and there are two reason why you would only be getting 450-500.

1. youre shooting your Marker way too fast

2. your tanks were not properly filled
