when i had a 4"suspension and 2" body, i got about 8-11 mpg and with my blue one now, i get about 16-17. You will like the jeep, we need to go camping/ paintball weekend.... hell yeah. So when do you get to decide? and do you know what to look for when looking at a jeep? if not, i can go with you to take a look. I have a bit of experience with mine.

What engine is he running in it? 4.0 I6? I seriously doubt that that's standard... he might be able to swing that on the highway. Ask what gearing he's running.

Hmm... It is possible on the highway. You WON'T get that in town though. I know I'm running in the area of 17-18 mpg on the interstate (70ish mph in 4th gear). I'm hoping to improve that a little when I regear.

It's all stock but it works. I would like to put a rubicon express 2 inch lift and put some 30's on it but I spend all my money on paintball.
Team Krisis
You gas up the marker, put on the gloves, strap on the mask, and walk onto the field.. it doesn't matter that you failed a test, that your girlfriend broke up with you last night, or that you got a ticket on the way there...your world is right for the next couple hours, this is your heaven on earth... live it... love it..

How the hell could you stop me? Why in the world would you try? I go hard forever that's just how I'm designed, that's just how I was built.

Not a bad looking WJ. You don't see too many of those lifted or built, so I hope you get around to doing it.

doh! Stupid grand's. I can never remember which letter code goes to which series. I know the Cherokee's (XJ's) All the Wranglers (YJ and TJ and JK), the CJs, the Commander (XJ) and the Liberty (KJ), the Comanche (MJ). The compass doesn't count as a real Jeep, so I don't use the letter code (MK) hardly at all.

Yeah it took me a while to figure it all out myself! :) As far as I'm concerned, I'm not buying a Jeep if it doesn't come with a solid front axle. IFS just isn't a real Jeep feature. Besides the CJ's, YJ, TJ, XJ, ZJ, AND WJ I don't pay attention to they're codes. They're not real jeeps, stupid IFS :comp:

I'm lost when it comes to the codes for the old flat fenders too.

I still want to find and build up an old MJ (Commanche). The same thing as an XJ almost, just a truck...

And I wish Jeep would make this:

speaking of i wish jeep would make that. have you seen the concept thats got 2 hemis one for the front axle and one for the back. it looked real wicked at the auto show. doubt its going to become a real car though.
