Altough it maybe your flatline that is the problem, you still need to go outside and practice every now and then.

Well, I know this has probably been said, but J&J makes some of the best (FOR THEIR PRICE) barrels in the market. They are great, inexpensive barrels.

J&J 1 pc are inconsistant now. They are suppose to be .688 bore but they may come up to .693" Mass product in them have killed the line up.

Slink, I was not aware of that. I was planning to get one for my Phantom to fit slightly smaller bore paint. But if they come in .693, there may be no point.

They come in different sizes but the company says .688. Very inconsistant.

Ok, let me all ask you something. Should I keep my flatline and buy a red dot sight, or should I sell it and get a J&J. I'm hearing alot of mixed reviews.

Getting a barrel is so hard. No matter which one you pick someone will say its great and someone will say its got a problem. I asked about a Smart parts barrel in another thread and then i chose J&J then of course that one guy comes along with that thing about bore size. I mean come on!

I know. Its especially hard because there aren't alot of barrel options for the 98 anymore, and I don't really want to dump any more money into it.

I never used the ceramic, but i have a JJ Edge barrel kit. I think its one of the better barrels i have used. I like it much better then the freak barrel, and the evil pipe kit.

My friend has a 14" J&J ceramic barrel. No complaints from him, we've all tried it too: accurate, fairly quiet, excellent for the price.

I think I know what you mean from the 30' thing. Try putting your stock barrel back on and testing if you can hit stuff from there. If you can or it's a lot easier, then dump the flatline. Personally, I could never get it to work, and the balls never broke at the range you gained from it. Just not worth it IMO.

Cant have a Shameless Quote if they won't tell me what it is...
