I'd wear something kind of tight fitting. not very, but tight enough to keep from getting snagged on anything or for a zombie to grab.

but in the same sense i want something thick enough that they're gunna have a helluva time getting to me.

oh, and a helmet with some sort of working HUD that had thermal vision and night vision. a digital compass. thermometer. digital targeting system, the works. to shorten that up, a combo of masterchief and splinter cell.

So...we're not talking wearing paintball clothes sized larger than what you normally wear? :dodgy:

Well, here's an example.

My local gun store has a few too.

They're expensive, but you can find them.

Personally, I think an intermediate rifle cartridge would be more desirable than .45 ACP for zombie survival.

If my enemy were zombies, I'd probably be leaning towards 7.62x39 as my primary go-to rifle. 5.56 works fine against normal humans, but you need to really damage a zombie and I'll take the bigger wound channel over the hydrostatic shock and possible tumble of the 5.56 - both of those are nice against the living, but not the undead.

For a close-range, headshot pistol for dispatching the undead, I think I want the new KelTec PMR-30.

Holds 30 rounds of .22 Magnum per magazine.

And a 1911 for non-zed enemies of course.

Yes, I picked to have cleaning products. Last thing i need is to be infected while eating because of the virus being on my clothes, hands, utensils, or containers. Lysol wipes, purel, lemon fantastic, ammonia? hell i don't care, as long as it will take care of the possible infections or diseases for me, last thing i need is to come down with diphtheria or some form of illness that makes me bed ridden...then I'd be screwed.

I was unaware that a civilian version of that was made....

I dunno, 5.56mm seems perfectly usable to me. Headshots are key anyways, and I wouldn't be taking any long shots (400+ yards) unlesss completely necessary. To me at least, the lesser weight and lower recoil of 5.56mm seems like good qualities to have. I have no personal experience of what a 5.56 would do to a human head, but it seems to me it'd penetrate and completely destroy that brain due to it's tumbling properties.

And .45ACP would be a useful caliber to be packing for when you run into hostile humans. Especially in the form of that Vector, which I now really, really want. :dodgy:

That's about it. I had Bruce Campbell as my sidekick, but I think I'd rather have a good shot. :)

What, not a quarry for a stronghold?

No trees, all gravel and rock. You can see a long ways off and know about incoming zombies (or the living trying to steal your supplies) long before they're a threat.

:D

Well that's an NC farm (which is MUCH easier to find and produce food on than a quarry), and you can see a fair ways off all ready.

And to all those that suggested "cleaning products" earlier, I have grain alcohol (Everclear) as the ultimate multipurpose item. Disinfectant, solvent, combustible fuel, pain killer, emergency sustenance (alcohol converts into sugars) and quite a few other purposes. All from one item.

Also, no shirt, just a web harness and pack. 'Cuz I'm bad like that.
