I think I'm just going to start with the Firestorm Crank then work my way to an E-grip and Cyclone upgrades.

get a response trigger or and e-grip. i have an e-grip but am getiing a response trigger because my e-grip broke. both are good. i have heard both are superior to each other in different ways, such as the e-grip has better performance but the response trigger is more reliable.

I would say out of the two, the RT. You can get the same ROF fire, and it's not as clumsy as the Firestorm Crank. I've used both on a single marker and the RT is by far the winner.

I would more likely go with the E-Grip over the Response Trigger though. That way you don't have to mess with fine tuning and sweet spotting.

I would go with the Response Trigger too, but you need to be careful with any officials. A few ranges up by me have anything that increases rate of fire or trigger bounce illegal. This would probably include an RT or an FC. That's why I went for the A5 basic when I bought mine although I would have preferred an RT.

I'd say reponce trigger because it's better in bad weather and can be tuned to fire fast.

Considering you are playing Broadsword..money may not (or may) be an issue, get an E-Grip!

As long as you do not screw with the pre-sets.....you'll be fine. (Well, except air....which all of you know, F**K paint....got more AIR?!?!)

I think the egrip would be your best bet. I have never used the crank but it just doesn't look like it is that good of a setup to me. A response trigger won't shoot as fast as an egrip plus the egrip has multipal settings.

ok knaves, from the sound of it very few of you have ever used a firestorm crank. and i bet only a portion of you have even seen one in person.

so here it comes... STOP... HAMMERTIME!

ive used gatlin cranks, RT's, and egrips. the firestorm cranks which you can get from www.doubletrouble2.com is a superior firing solution. it is NOT CLUMSY. it is actually very smooth, and easy to aim. its almost like being a firefighter with a waterhose. you just make sure your off hand supports the front of the marker, and let the tank/stock rest in your shoulder, and turn the wrist of your trigger hand. truth be told its very easy to aim, and if you keep your trigger hand's elbow tight to your ribs, it allows you to play very tight.

installation is idiot proof. 2 screws put the crank on, and the same 2 screws when loosened takes it off. try doing that with an egrip, or r/t. and if any of you say the phenom does it, just remember the cranks only cost 20 bucks. the phenom costs 300+. there really is no need to clean them. they stay clean. but if you had to take the crank apart, it's also..idiotproof. no batteries, no o-rings, NO TUNING AND RE-TUNING, no leaks, nadda. you bolt it on, you rain paint. plus you can crank it as slowly or as fast as you want depending on how much paint you wish to use at the given moment. try doing that with an r/t or e-grip in under 10 seconds. its instant with a crank. :P

i used them for years on both a5-s and 98's. sure cranks make a double trouble what it is.... a paint slinger of doom, but on a regular marker it still mows.

i reccomend the cranks, as the most experienced with them. i have used them on markers other than the double trouble, and they are just so problem free its unreal. i rely on the crank over the marker to be honest.

and for those fo you that have never tried a gatlin crank, try it. give it a few days of play to see how ya like it. i guarantee you'll notice the ease of which you can adjust your ROF and the consistency of the stream. not to mention complete worry free maintenance.

At my field, RT isn't allowed but a Firestorm crank is. If your field is semi auto only, a marker with the Firestorm crank is still considered a semi. Sweet spotting your RT is considered full auto.
