ha ha ha ha
i was going through the pictures and i came to 217 the guy in the camo cheifs hat

this guy was trying to move out of a bunker, he wasent to low because there was lots of cover in front of him, lots, all of his front and his hole right sidewas totaly covered, he was long balling some guys at the far end of the feld, and there was no way anyone could take him out from his front or his right ... well you can guess i came up on his left, he walks right into the open and i start raining paint down on him, 80ish feet and the paint was not the best for accuracy so i went through about 50 rounds to my suprize i hit him 4 times, now a normal paintball player would do something like walk out, or look to where i might be and walk out, not this guy, this guy assumed that the player behind him ON HIS TEAM had betrayed him and shot him from 10 feet, so he turned and shoot his team mate

one of the best things i have ever seen on a paintball field

Hey! I was there!

Great pics of the event. I did not expect them to turn out with such high quality. I was in a few of those pics too.

My team insignia (property of me so please do not use it)

The event was great. Our team, the Marauders, did well and made about $600. Each of our squaddies walked away with $35 each. Playing for money rules.

The North Shore Renegades and CSPO were all great to play with, as well as other squads. The refs did a great job. The entire event was well thought out and very entertaining. Supplying "paint drops", smoke grenades and maps for players was also very cool.

What sucked was the lack of netting at the front of the field, where anyone could shoot directly into the mask-off staging area. Absolutely unsafe and pretty lame. In fact there were plenty of totally unsafe areas without netting. I was warned before attending the event that this might be an issue, so I had my mask on most of the day unless I was in the parking lot.

There was a retarded amount of balaclavas on the field, and to this day I have no idea why they are so popular in British Columbia. There were also several players playing without face shields, only goggles and a balaclava. That should not be allowed on the field, period. There were a lot of safety issues that seemed to go ignored by the staff at Panther Paintball and that means I will not be attending any non-scenario games there in the future. I hope they get these things settled before the next scenario.

Thanks a lot for posting your pics Russianfrontphotos. It was a lot of fun reliving memories while going over them. CSPO rules.

Hehe, good eyes to catch yourself in that pic. I got a sock on my tank as a cover as well but covered the whole thing with Camoform self adhesive tape. Its not sticky tape but it sticks to itself. Easy to remove and re-use.

... and another balaclava! Seriously. Vancouver must be the ninja capital of the world.

Gamer mentioned the lack of face masks by some players. Is goggles only a legal option?

ya we play ear and grill protection optional and strongly suggested, mandatory for speedball
its kinda unsafe but only people with some experancs do that, and some of them did get shot in the face, a guy in my squad got one of those guys in the ear, he bled like niagra falls, but the was wiping so we diden't feel bad

Sorry bud but the fella who got shot in the ear is one of the single most stand up players I've ever known. I've been gunning with Fraser for just about all of my time paintballing and I can tell you for a fact that neither he nor any of his NSR teammates are wipers.

For those who want to know what a gruesome ear shot looks like:

That's a great example of why you should always wear a full mask. :ghillie:
