making 98c quieter?

Seriously, the RC & a quiet barrel are the two easiest things to do. Neither will make it that much quieter, but it will be slightly noticeable. A low-pressure kit will quiet it, but they have issues & they are hard to find.
You bought the brand, not my allegiance.

Oh it's my main too (waiting for my Phantom to arrive ^^), and you can ambush by all means...it's just that everyone for a mile will hear you so make sure you don't miss and leave a way to escape or set up another ambush for anyone that comes to intercept

If you decide to use the Great Stuff you may want to make sure you will not be making any additional modifications like a vertical air kit, response trigger, or e-trigger.
Low pressure kits also work to quiet the marker. There are a few problems though. They are somewhat hard to find as they have been discontinued. It is also not a good idea to use CO2 as the volume chamber can act as an expansion chamber. If using a regulator and an expansion you want the expansion chamber before the regulator. Also markers that have had low pressure kits installed tend to be very finicky and problem-matic.
