Cocky noobs.
Cocky players.

The cost associated with playing.

PEE SHOOTER BOBBLE HEAD players. You know, the ones who cry and complain when they get shot out and are just generally poop shooters to newer players.

Cheaters.

Field wreckers. My home field got shut down b/c douchebags wrecked most of the fields. Backcreek was a nice place until that happened.

I hate when people unnecessarily treat people they consider newbs like crap. my good friend from out of town flew in, so he didn't have his marker. my friend may be the single best player i have ever seen, but when we got there, before we played any rounds, people unnecessarily mocked him for asking them to describe the course. He simply wanted another take on the field (other than mine), and they all treated him like crap because they thought he sucked at paintball. This situation ended up embarrassing for them when my friend ended up wiping out 12 people in the first round.

Basically, what my story is saying is: don't be a jerk to newbs, because A) this may happen, and :) aren't we all trying to further the sport? When one of the 'big boys' mocks a beginner, its not going to convince them to stick with the sport.

I really hate sprinting about a 100 feet for cover and then having to sit there for a few minutes breathing heavy, trying to get my heart rate back down before I can start playing again.

Wait a minute, maybe that should be under "Things I hate about being fat".

I have to agree with the post about the people who take forever to get ready for a game. I manage to fill my 10rnds, reload my belt with 12g, and get ready for the next game faster than some people can fill a hopper and light their smoke.

I moan about it a lot and I think I get some flack from my teammates about it but if I show up to the field knowing I gotta take off in a few hours I don't want to spend my entire time there waiting for others.

---

Additionally I want to point out that I hate the people that praise/hate on people just because of their equipment. I find some walk-ons mocking how dumb some of the regulars look because they're in jeans and a sweater rocking some forgotten marker from the '90s, yet when they meet them on the field they've usually been goggled faster than they can blink. Same thing goes for everyone who thinks that anything shiney makes you speedball or 'pro'. I'm a casual player, my mini (nor my phantom) are anything special but I've already been called a speedballer and a pro even though I'm just there to have fun.

This may be one of the single most annoying things in paintball. Gear doesn't say how good someone is. This personally irks me more than anything other than people dismissing newbs, as stated in my previous post.
