on my trips through the rocky mountains i found an extremely effective energy bar. its called the HOOAH bar, and it was designed for the military to give our soldiers the boost they needto keep on fighting. they dont taste fantastic, but they are effective. i ate one in the morning everyday before we hiked, and i would be the one setting the pace for everyone else to follow. the greatest thing is that theres no drop-off like other bars, the effects last for hours. the company that makes the bar also makes energy drinks with the same effects. they have their own website, its www.hooahbar.com

Water is about all I consume while at the field but I usually stop on the way home and grab some KFC. If I do eat at the field I bring a sandwich or something like that. At big games I eat whatever is being sold by the local church groups or boy scouts.

If you play your own game of paintball using Spec ops as guidelines and not as "law of position", put this in your sig.

I usually go without food when I play. It must be something with the adrenaline, but I never get hungry.

Water. I eat only before and after I'm done playing, the only exception being the "Big Game" (at SOF Hamilton, still waiting for anyone who plays there to PM me...) I played at, where I was there quite a while longer than usual, so I needed a lunch. But I don't eat while at the field because I can't run at all right after I've eaten (I lose pretty much all my endurance and most of my speed :ghillie:), and also a bit because adrenaline kills my appetite for some reason.

when i play it's usually not really long, so mostly i just drink lots of water and eat before and after. at the few longer games i've been to it was all about the sammiches.

I like to have a big breakfast an hour or 2 before a big game, something like a denver omlet or eggs and sausage, some good protein for extended energy, snack throughout the day on fruit, peanutbutter crackers, powerbars, lots of water and gatorade, a lunch of meat sandwiches, or tuna fish, cheese, fruit not too much candy or sugary foods, stuff that will stay with me throughout the day :ghillie:

Before game, I always have stir fry. During, usually some sort of fruit. Throughout the day I like to drink anywhere between half to an entire gallon of water.

lol, i learned the hard way that its not a good idea to drink a bunch of milk before a game. i threw up like 3 times within a half hour of hard playing. it made me lighter/faster though :D
