They came out awhile ago, I don't know of anywhere you can still get them. I used to see them on eBay. I suppose you could always make your own if you have the equipment

The originals were done by Brad Q Nestle, but now that's he's MIA so you can't get it from him. There a guy who makes a batch at a time and post them on ebay. You can also catch them in the b/s/t at times. I'm sure any decent airsmith can do it also.

Before I start, you're talking about the phantom one's right? Anyways it's drilled for the barrel and drilled for a helicoil for the pump rod to connect to. You'd need a drill press, vise, pool ball, measuring device (calipers? rulers?), etc... I heard inhaling the dust from pool balls are bad also, so some sort of painting mask that filters it.
If you're talking about one for a sniper talk to Altec.

Anyone know anything about the Sniper pool ball pumps? I think it was a custom project, but I'm pretty sure I've seen one on here.
EDIT: Sorry, I just read the end of your post, xkpcfattyxx.

Is Altec's pump based off the phantom pump? Or is it just a tapped pool ball?

Cheaper pool balls are plastic, not ceramic. I'd go with those for a variety of reasons.

Aqua I believe he made a baseball one, not a pool ball. He made a baseball for sure, but I'm not sure about a pool ball.

Some thing I just thought of, a hockey puck would be cool. You could have it go around the barrel, or if it's flat (like laying on the floor), just drill 2 holes for the pump rod and pump guide.

He posted pics of the baseball one, that I remember, but I also remember this thread coming up like 2 years ago or something and he said he made one before... I was interested in how they kept the ball from cracking
