My GF just got me an impulse rat. :panzer: i emailed smart parts... not much help but some, searched the forums and the internet... but to no avail.

i guess what i wondering is what i have in front of me... and what i could do for upgrades if any are really needed.
i know i have the max flo reg and freak jr barrel and All American 14" front.

from what ive heard its the same as the impulse but when i read the manual for the regular impulse it says that the gun should beep then you turn it on... it doesn't. also if the eyes are on it should flash 5 times per sec or something like that i can only get two per sec green like when the eyes are off or a red light (which the manual doesn't mention) every two seconds... do you think that this is a different board???

thanks in advance for everything.

justin

Welcome to the forum.

That marker was made by E-paintball Oulet. Now Out of business. I think the marker came out around 2004. Has some ups. Also it may have a vision board/ ramping.

I can't find much but here's a link for ya. pbreview

Also check out this link for tech help. zds

I figure they'd take any of the parts normally available for an impulse, however I also think they have better stock parts to start with. I'd play with it a while and see if there is even anything you need to do.

Thanks a lot guys this really helped a ton this is exactly the info i was looking for...

from what slinkyaroo put up i found out that it is an 03-04 because of the upper bolt milling the -02's were alittle different on that website i see that there was a green and amber board(00-01)... now i don't think that is what is in there but im going to take it apart now and see if someone but another board in there. But ill update and let you know what in the heck is in there...

and i think ill take your advice tenacious and just run it for a while.

thanks again

Only mod I would do immediately is a tapeworm mod. Allows you to dry fire without paint.

now is that so i can dry fire without ruining anything because it already dry fires if i disable the eyes on that new board.

so should i still get it or just forget about it?

Look into a LPR setup instead of a tapeworm, Along with keeping back pressure (like the TW) it will give you the option of adjusting your FPS without messing with the inlet pressure. SP along with other's makes?/made a simple LPR setup that replaces the front cap (under barrel) and plugs into the tapeworm port.

My hand decided that the time was nigh
And for a moment it slipped from view
When it returned, it fairly burned with
Confidence anew… -N.C.
