Hey guys, I was just wondering, is Homeland paintball still open? I heard it wasn't, it doesn't look to be, and the site is down, but I was wondering, is it done for good? I really enjoyed playing there, and dont have anywhere to play since it closed :D except outlaw, which isn't near as fun... any info would be great!

www.homelandpaintball.net their website is back up. I hear they don't get much of a crowd nowadays though. DropZone paintball is only about 15 minutes from Homeland if you know the back roads and the prices are about the same.

it's different management but DropZone is professional about the way they do things and there's always enough of a crowd to have decent sized games. I think it's $26 for field fee (includes all day air), that's if you bring your own gear. DZ really is only 15 minutes from Homeland if you take the back roads. What town are you coming from?

Their field isn't in Lawrence. It's actually closer to Overbrook. Here's some directions:

BillyBob's right, though, it's only about 15 minutes from where Homeland was. On Saturdays there's always people playing (assuming the weather's good). Not sure on Sunday as I've only been out there once on a Sunday before the season was really underway. I'll be out there this Sunday, though.
