It is beautiful when a brave man of the front ranks falls and dies, battling for his homeland.
Young men, fight shield to shield and never succumb to panic or miserable flight, but steel the heart in your chests with magnificence and courage. Forget your own life when you grapple with the enemy.

Yeah, and so do you. If you were over there, you'd be glad to have free time.

LOL.
I'm glad to see they get to have fun during the day. You these guys aren't out there fighting 24/7 like the media portrays. They actually get some free time now becuase, well, there are less missions now adays. I mean sure you always hear about guys getting blown up but it's not as often as the media makes it sound. My Dads in the army and in Iraq so I know.

my point is that the guys there are acutally pretty awesome, and arent just some sort of evil killing machine harvested by the evil americans. the title was sarcastic, apparently you didnt catch that.

also, i think that by joining the army you instantly become a better dancer. i've got a cousin that was an mp and is the funniest dancer you will ever meet.

dude.... the average working day is like... 6 hours over there. That's it. They're on rotations, but are usually kept as "fresh" as possible to avoid stupid mistakes that lead to people getting killed. Sooo.... lots of free time.

"War is bordem, punctuated by moments of sheer terror." - Vietnam Vet

In regaurds to the first video, the lyrics were touching.

Hey, ya know, that tention's gotta break SOMEHOW!! There's a HUGE amount of stress involved in war, and, well, quite frankly, it gets boring! When there's no action, it's very boring. I remember being on QRF (kinda like being put on perminent alert to respond to things in your area of operations. Actually, it's EXACTLY that, not kinda) and having week long Counterstrike battles. Try sitting in your room with nothing to do for a week. Then you'll get the idea. You'll start doing some wierd stuff too.

you have nooooooooo idea the stupid stuff we do on our free time out here.

we made a game called "bounceball xtreme"...you get 5 golfballs, and theres a box. stand 10 feet back and bounce the ball off the ground, and into the box. first one to have 5 more points than the other wins. it has innings though, so you cant win by going first.

we also LAN a lot in our free time...wireless cards kick butt! I've got a group of paintball players playing breaking50 for call of duty now. woot!

we wrestle a lot, play poker a lot...and all this is just the regular stuff. the stupid things, I will not speak of.
