A tale of marker troubles, hope, and the folks that made a difference. Air Assault Paintball: they fixed my Etek 2.

Sorry about the title, I thought I'd tap into the Readers Digest article title writer in us all. :D
I have the brown/pure awsomeness/gold Etek 2 that wouldn't hold air, so I called Planet Eclipse and they said the nearest certified shop is Air Assault Paintball in Maple Plain, Minnesota.

I called them and a guy named Brent answered. I have to move in two weeks and I will be gone all of this next week so I asked how long it would take so I could get it back before I have to go, because I'll be ballin' where I'm going and I wanted to use my new gun.
He said they could rush it through the process before I have to leave.

I packaged up my gun and sent it off to them. I got a call the other day saying that it was really messed up. I asked what was wrong and he said a barb was messed up, there was an
o-ring out of place in the HPR so that blew the solenoid to hades and that the cure bolt had the wrong pin in it. I was shocked how much the previous owner had messed it up, and I know it wasn't me because it never worked for me. So I'm thinking that to repair this thing is gonna cost me my right arm and he says it'll cost $37.50 because of the bent thing and the right pin in the cure bolt. I about wet my pants. :P I asked if they take Paypal and he said yes to that, to.

That was Wednesday and I just got it in the mail today, and guess what. It came with goodies! :D :tup: It had with it: 2 Planet Eclipse stickers, a Planet Eclipse 2010 catalog, and a Air Assault paintball post card.
Needless to say I'm happy and was pleased with there service and helpfulness.
I'll recommend Air Assault paintball and Planet Eclipse to everyone I can and I look forward to doing business and supporting them anytime I can.

YAY real customer service!
That store should recive a award.

Phone up PE and ask them if they do store referals or keep track of which stores have positive reviews, If they do. make sure to let them know, As much as posting on a forum helps, Telling PE about that specific store will help that store in ways beyond your thought process.

I called PE before I sent it in and they said the service shop there is in there top referall list and said that the customer service was good. Needless to say, I wasn't disapointed.

I'm just happy I got my marker back before I leave on Monday.

Hey I play there!!!! How did I miss this post!!!!

Brent is a cool guy. So is the other main guy, gary. There proshop (aka ECLIPSE shop) is incredible. They are very helpful there too and the field is awesome (indoor turf).

Air assault is the place to be, ESPECIALLY in the winter!!!!
