So this saturday I finally get take my new toy (generously donated by some of you fine upstanding gentlemen) out to play!
Goin' up to Paintball Jungle near Vallejo CA, with half a case of Marbalizer & a jumbo box of 12 grams...
Yes, I'll get some pics...
CANT WAIT!

get some practice changing 12ies if this is your first time in some years. Yeah bucket changers make it quick and easy 1.5 turns. But still helps to practice. Save spent 12 grams to practice changing them with. Helps a lot.

If you need any tubes or other SC gear (tube holders/harnesses) let me know, i can rummage through my stuff and find some gear for you. I have plenty of SC gear

Thanks, Im good for now...I always kept plenty of tubes around anyway for some reason (I had a sidearm pistol awhile back) & I just ordered a nice new SC pack - hopefully it'll get here before the weekend.
The old instincts are still there I think, just a little rusty...Its been awhile - at least 20 years - since I used 12gs on a regular basis.
But Im quite exited...one I get back into the grove Im gonna show these kids what an old man with a pump can do...Bwaah ahhh ahhh! :ghillie:
Since I dont smoke anymore (2 months or so) I should be a bit faster than I have been the last few years...the "extra" oxygen might come in handy!

So because I play scenarios, I won't buy a high-end unless it has rails at useless angles, and has a machine-gun shroud bolted on it?-Maduce

Well I came home from work today to see a package waiting for me. Turn's out my ATS TS-1 is here! Its pretty cool, because its the only TS-1 with AKA valving in it. It was a prototype valve system that AKA was comminssioned to do but it never hit production. And it came with a 1 of 1 16" Javelin barrel. So its pretty sweet. Now all I need for it is a Palmer's inline stab, some forward loaders, and a stock.

Thought I'd share that, pump-wise I got the last piece I needed for my halfblock (my Sniper build-off entry) so as soon as that gets put together, I'll get pics up of both.

How hard is it to play speedball with a left or right feed body? I've only used center feed. I would just buy a new body, but Pre-2k center feed bodies are hard to find (Or at least for me)

You'll probably stick out of the bunkers a lot more/get a bunch of hopper hits, but thats about it.

I'm driving out to the coast on Thursday, for a vacation and West Coast Pump Weekend!

Pretty happy about that. Plus, I'm picking up my new gearbag tomorrow.

Not that hard. Just be conscious and tilt the hopper farther than you normally would.

What kind of gearbag? Paintball bodybag?

I am currently building a sniper 2 but I have a question: should I trade it for a phantom?

Depends on the sniper and phantom. Personally, I would say no.
