Yes, they're good, but you're getting ripped off bigtime if you buy one.

They are using the cheapest parts and charging too much. Their making at least 75% profit.

Example

With the size of valve on this, it could easily be made for under $30 (ordering bulk saves a bit). I prefer to build launchers instead of buying them.

I agree. Launchers are so cheap and easy to make it doesn't make sense to buy one unless you get it for what it's really worth. All it takes is a few bucks and a trip to Home Depot and a little time putting it together and boom you're done. You can make launchers, mortars, land mines, etc. Building these things is VERY dangerous if you don't know what you're doing so research them 'til you're sick of it. Google "potato gun", "potato cannon" and "spud gun". BE CAREFULL !!!!!

That's not the worst markup.... $120 ?? ouch..

Design looks awful familiar.. in retrospect, I never should have published this..lol

Total parts were about $15-$20... I should have probably use a slightly longer expansion and a ball valve with a higher rating (I think that one was a 650 WOG) but I think when I did the math the pressure was in the 300 range in the chamber with a 12gram. Also I'd suggest reading the launcher safety thread that's on here which talks about fittings, pressure and safety in general.

Finally, know that many launchers (even some of those on that site) may not be allowed on fields as-is. For some fields / games I've had to add burst discs, guages and other safety mechanisms. Sometimes it's just a no-go... I agree completely with DVL... research, read, learn then do it until you're sick of it. Safety is #1.

The "panzerfaust" ?? That one is just but a bunch of PVC pieces on the outside made to look like one. There is a plan out there that I've seen but can't seem to find right now...

i agree with the others that said you should make your own, i mean its fairly cheap and takes little skill or time

for those who don't know what where talking about, please don't attempt to make yor own, personaly i have had launchers blow up and luckily have never been injured
