Title says it all! I picked it up Saturday and played Sunday. I can not say enough good things about this gun. Its pretty much perfect out of the box! The only thing I did to it was adjust the trigger some. The gun I was using which will now be my back up gun was a Karnivor. I got a black with silver/gray accents. If your looking into a high end marker and you have the money I would highly recommend this gun. I shot a few different ones, DM8, Bob Longs and others before I went with it and I am very happy with my choice. I went through a case and a half of paint and had no problems what so ever. This weekend Im really going to try it out. Im going to get some cheap paint at the field and see how it does.

You gas up the marker, put on the gloves, strap on the mask, and walk onto the field.. it doesn't matter that you failed a test, that your girlfriend broke up with you last night, or that you got a ticket on the way there...your world is right for the next couple hours, this is your heaven on earth... live it... love it..

How the hell could you stop me? Why in the world would you try? I go hard forever that's just how I'm designed, that's just how I was built.

It will wear out the gun quicker than if you don't.

no it the same has if you were shooting paint through it
but i think it more likely to blown a o-ring on a spool marker than a poppit

hmm dry firing your ego won't cause any harm

because when you cycle them (no paint ) it basically dry fire but at a way higher rof

Cure bolt O rings will need to remain lighly greased in order to reduce wear & tear on them. Keep em lightly greased, and you will have no issues dryfiring. Let them dry out however, and it will increase the odds of tearing/breaking.

***ninja edit***

I've been shooting my 05 ego w/ a modded bolt (modded stock bolt to shape of cure w/ no o rings) and a TI rammer (same thing as zick kit prettymuch) and it doesnt care WHAT paint i put through it.

I would personally have to disagree with those who say egos do nothing but chop paint. I have never ever had a chop with mine. Sounds like they have their LPR turned up too high, mixed with possible low batteries in their halo, allowing the stack to have enough room for a ball to bounce in the breach, and maybe even a bad run of paint.
