If you have a BT or a 98C and you'd like the ability to change the hopper and you don't think you'll need a loader for any other brand of marker then I'd go ahead and get the Rip-Clip. In my opinion sound activation is the only way to go. The Rip-Clip works great and it accepts all the same hoppers as the cyclone without the problems. If you need a good low cost sound activated loader that you can use on any marker I recommend the Empire Reloader 2. Just know that with the ER2 all the screw threads in the shell will strip out after about 8-12 months. This can be fixed with a little epoxy but after another year the shell and neck will start to crack. I still think it's worth the $50.00 cost.
