I Am also thinking of joining a team rather than rebuild mine.
Anyone recruiting for 2011?
My team is always recruiting check us out..
You are closer to the fields we will play at but farther away from most the team for practices and meetings if you can get past that we would love to have you.
Thanks Tomcat...I'll have a look at your site.
I know there is the 37th and Phalanx around here, but can't find info on their recruitment and such.
There used to be a few teams around my area (McHenry County area) but most seem to have gone the same way as my old team...
I was on Phalanx and left due to issues with one of the leaders.. I was one of the officers so I can provide you with there info as well. They are also always recruiting. The differences between there team and mine are as follows: My team just started and has 13 active players the players on my team range from 15-26 years old. Phalanx has been around for 2 1/2 years and has gathered many sponsors including fox paintball sport smoke rap4 and a couple others I am forgetting. My team does not charge any dues and the only uniform request is that you order one of our custom jerseys for $55 from our only sponsor animalpaintball.com but this is not a requirement. Phalanx charges dues and is in full uniform. Both of us wear marpat and are heavy into aggressive tactical play.
Phalanx is an awesome group of guys and I still call most all of them friends. I only had an issue with one of the founders and still he is a stand up guy and very good player its just he doesn't think about the consequences of speaking his mind and that caused paintball to not be fun for me so I left.
Check out Phalanx here at there website phalanxpaintball.com
The other co-founder works for Verizon so there website is the best I have seen.
