There was one that I think russia used but it was a modification of the mp40 where they bent the barrel at like 30 degrees and they were issued to tank crews in case the enemy got onto their tank. No pic though.

and viper are you a nun??

Let me just say that shotgun is AWESOME! Have you heard of the machine gun used in WW2 nicknamed the Stinger? Marines in the Philippines would take Browning .30 cal air cooled machine guns off of crashed aircraft, attach a BAR stock, front sight, a grip, and a bipod and used it for a portable shoulder fired LMG

Yup, the Stoner 63 was a light machine gun designed by Eugene Stoner, the guy who designed the M-16. It fired a 5.56 round, kinda like the predesessor to the SAW. It was mostly used by the SEALS in Vietnam.

...

The "Stinger" idea worked so well the Army came up with the Browning M1919A6. Basically, our .30 cal machine gun with a bipod and a stock.

I've heard of that  . I watched this documentary about a Marine who stormed Iwo Jima with that weapon. He had to run back to the beach many times to re-stock on ammo because the ROF was so high.
