The point of the poll is to see who favours what, The old brass (Sheridan P-68, PMI-II... etc) Or, The "sniper" platform that Bud Orr made. (And later on, turned them into cockers) And why.
Have at!

If it was meant to be a poll, there isn't one.

I'll most likely get a lot of flak, but I prefer the Sniper to the sheridan brass, but I haven't had a chance to try out a nice brass piece. I'm sure if I could get my hands on some nice Palmer material, I would love it much more than I could ever love a Sniper, Sheridan, or Nelson.

Definitely brass!

Sure its a heavier metal. It's more expensive, and it's softer, but there's something about the old PMI/Sheridan designs that give them that distinguishing brass feel in your hands. Not to mention that hollowed out "pop" sound when firing one.

But i was never a big fan of aluminum sheridan valves. Snipers are fine markers, particularly the older ones, but they just weren't quite my cup of tea.

If you ask me, stainless steel Lapco models give brass the biggest run for their money.

Brass for the win! I love shooting my old sheridan at noobs. Sounds like a pop gun and then they're out. :P

If he rips my arms off, I'll kick him to death.
If he rips my legs off, I'll bite him to death.
If he rips my head off, I'll stare him to death.
And if he gouges my eyes out, I'll curse him from beyond the grave.

I lub muh Brass. As much as i HATE budd orr and how he acted in his business with Glenn Palmer, i will give him credit for taking the Sheridan design and modifying it to a Sniper design (as yes, that is what truly is a sniper in paintball, the first WGP markers). He made removeable barrels, easy adjust velocity, ball detents all sorts of bells and whistles. I do like how he did that...i just hate how he boinked over Glenn when the autocrapper was "invented by budd"

I'd take Brass over anything, any day. I love the heft, the feel, everything. The only pumps i shoot that aren't brass are Carters, cause they are just as heavy, if not heavier (i know my stainless Buzzard weighs more then my all brass Super Stocker).

Snipers are fine markers...very fun to tune and shoot. I just like the feel of Brass better. My only real gripe with brass is the stock Sheridan grip frame and it's lack of upgradeable grips...there are only a handful you can use on it. Once you throw a 45 on there though....DROOOOOOOOOOL

I had a Blazer and loved it but lately I'm digging Nelsons with an under-barrel cocking handle - Redux, Duckslide or even Phantom with an under-barrel kit.
It's not that I don't like the Sheridan-style rig. I just find Nelsons easier to work on and tune.

As Sheridans go, I like brass but a Blazer/Pyre is mostly aluminum. I guess I'm conflicted. ;)

Well Snipers are easier to play with, but I find brass more reliable and a bit more fun to shoot.
