Out of those choices, definitely a mini.

No mechanicals? Automags, Autocockers, Blazers? They all fall in the mid-range budget and are excellent performers.

There really isnt a best. Depends on what kind of operation you prefer. some like poppits, other like spoolies.

I like the mini myself.

Here's a rough list of mid-end markers:
-Proto PMR
-Proto SLG
-Eclipse Etek
-Dangerous Power Fusion/F8
-Invert Mini
-Bob Long Protege
-Smart Parts Eos
-Smart Parts Epiphany
-Evil Pimp
-ICD Freestyle
-WGP Superstock

Out of that whole list, I'd go for the Etek Ego. The Etek is almost, performance-wise, identical to the Ego. Second choice would be the F8 or Fusion, then the Mini. The PMR is also a good choice. Bang for your buck, I'd go for the PMR.

The Blazer is an excellent marker, as all Palmers guns are. How, the OP seems to be more in the market for an electro, and an E-Blazer seems to be a ways out of his desired price range.

The PMR is a spoolie and the SLG is a sear tripper.
