We are a little lax on shots(guns dont count, arms dont count), but if they wipe anything else, 1 game sit, then 2 games. Then there gone for the weekend.
You gas up the marker, put on the gloves, strap on the mask, and walk onto the field.. it doesn't matter that you failed a test, that your girlfriend broke up with you last nite, or that you got a ticket on the way there.. your world is right for the next couple hours, this is your heaven on earth.. live it.. love it.. Paintball 4 life..

it all depends. experienced players who know how wrong it is they get kicked out. newbies who dont know anything they get a 3 game sit.

None of those options really follow what we do at PBL. Wipers get pulled out and a warning, they do it again and the owner'll talk to them, a third time and it's time to go home. For some reason we don't usually make people sit out games, I'm not sure why.

If someone wipes in a game because they have never played before and I obviously don't think they meant to do any harm I will just talk to them and give them a warning. Its when you get the individual who shows up with a bunch of expensive equipment and even more of a bad attitude that wipes for me to have to sit them out a few games especially when they are playing with players that have never played.

Lets be honest about 90% (probably more) of pro and pro-wannabe speed ballers are TAUGHT to cheat. If they are playing amongst themselves I'll call them out on it but its not as big of a deal.

what i tend to do as a ref is shoot them, somewhere soft usually the back side and say you are dead don't wipe. we also include in our safety speech, anyone dead who doesnt go out we tell them, anyone we see wipe or ignore our call we add another shot so they know they're dead, if they still don't understand we continue, understand? It usually works and gets a couple of laughs.

Also I agree with the guys who say don't differentiate, I've met guys who have their own guns who dont have a clue and rental players who know the rules like the back of their hand and are better players to boot so i don't think you can judge it on that.

Any time I catch a wipe, it's a 1 game sit out. However, if it's a renter or non-regular walk-on, I'll try to be a little nicer about it, and explain our policy. If the guys' there so often I know his girlfriend, I'll kick his butt.
