K, I'm just reaching the point where i can upgrade my x7 to auto. I have talked to many people about this but I am still undecided between the E-grip and the response trigger. Does anybody have any suggestions? pros/cons?

Response no batteries+
Egrip fire modes+

My buddy is getting rid of his egrip on his A5 and going back to his responce, easier to maintain and less problems.

I vote egrip, the ammount of customization you can have with fire modes and rof caps make it wort the money.

I can do the same with my response, it just takes some practice.

3 shot burst - check
Auto Repsonse - Duh
Ramping - I can cause my BPS to increase simply by applying more pressure, just like pulling the trigger more kicks ramping in.
Full auto - check
One shot semi auto - check

My RoF doesnt concern me, as anything over tournament or scenario standards will likely not be achieved by an A5/X7 running cyclone and RT both. The response trigger is more of a patient man's tool. It takes some time and tuning to get it to fit you like a glove, but when that happens, it's oh so sweet. I do like the Egrip though in the fact that I can fan/walk the trigger into a higher bps on 3 rd. burst than I can achieve with my RT.

In short, if you want to have everything preset and consistant, go with the EGrip.
If you like a little surprise whenever you pull the trigger, go with the RT.
