Does your scope help you very much during a game?
I'm a sniper hopeful and am not sure whether to use a scope.

I like it, but most people dont.

Lil tidbits. The ones by Doug Koenig are all handgun, though some things carry over. The ones by Michael Voigt are rifle/shotgun, though mostly shotgun.

Tight pics and firing positions.
That shirt distraction thing would really work.
Or maybe just a hat because that's what gave the first camo pic away.

Actually we do that a lot in the winter. Send one guy one way and fire at the OpFor, whiel somone else sets up their sweatshirt on a tree in the open. RUn towards its general direction and the person who set it up fires from a hide to make them think the sweatshort on the tree was shooting at them. They'll shoot at it til it falls off or says "I'm hit." While they're shootin a third person sneaks up on them, using their tunnel vision and noise as cover, as well as the natural surroundings.

One thing that's also a bit handy is to control your breathing. Take slow deliberate breathes. It helps you steady your aim.

You mean sniping right?
I thought you were supposed to hold your breath at the end before you shoot.

Deep breath in, half out, shoot, let out.
