My sister was looking at this Pirhana PMI, it has a 14" barral-2 9oz tanks, and a 250 ball hopper, and was wondering if it was worth $30.00. What is your opinion of Pirhannas. Thank you for your time.

piranhas are the best of all spyder type markers IMO and there easy to work on and theres alot of parts for them

Yea, definately worth it. My 1st gun was a Piranha GTI semi-auto with electric trigger. Good for speedball or close combat stuff. I would ask her what her prefered style of paintball is and then go from there. You know, game-type, what position she likes to play, stuff like that.

She is interested in sniping and woodsball, but she is on a more limited budget then I am. If she doesn't but it then I probably will for a back up when I get my bt-4 combat. I think it is just worth it in the tanks alone. Thanks for the replys

For thirty bucks, you cant beat that marker. I used to own one. Sold it to my buddy Josh to get him started in the sport. He still uses it as a back up to his Tippamnn 98.

Well...i Think that is a great deal. a 20once is 30 bucks by itself where i live, lol. But the gun..its a good beginner gun. ( my opnion) my 3rd gun was a piranha, and i wasnt satisfied. i could only shoot about 100 feet then it would just give out on me.

Does anyone know if the barrel would fit on a bt-4 combat?

Geeze! Buy it! The tanks themselves (New) are worth that much easy...The only thing she'll have to get used to is lack of a front grip...but bah, just tell her to buy it (Or be nice and buy it for her) and get her playing. Regardless of her "position."

That's a great gun, I bought one for my self and for my youngest bro. Workes great, easy to stip, just pull one pin and pull stuff out the back. When you first gas it up it will not recock unless you shoot a ball...idk why. With the tanks and nice barrel that is worth a good bit more than 30 bucks. Buy it.

Ok I'm going to go away from everyone else here, personaly I don't like Piranhas, I had one for my first gun and switch because there is NO aftermarket mods for it. But for $30.00 its still a good deal (as long as it works).
