What is your budget. If you honestly don't have any knowledge on markers I would suggest a simple 98c. Now, as you play more and more you will get a taste for what you want to put on your marker. Now, don't, fight the urge and save up for a marker that fits all your needs, stock. I'm just saying this so you don't spend $500 on a $100 marker. But, if you do find your needs involve that 98c, then go ahead and mod it.

Sounds like you play speedball, or do you play woodsball. Do you use HPA or CO2? How much money do you have to spend on paintball gear? Do you need goggles and a pod pack or do you already have those things. We'll be able to help you better if we know these things. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------EDIT-ooops, JerseyPaint beat me to it.

the 04 costs about $170 dollars and is a good beginner gun, the karnivor is a gun that usually cost about $1000 and they're selling it for $599

Wait until after the world cup and save up some of our money. LOTS AND LOTS of new gear coming out soon so just use your spyder for a bit longer.

Also go to a proshop, ask them if you can test fire and hold some of their guns, you'll find one that you like. Also on game day ask people if you can shoot their marker a few times. Unless they are total dicks they shouldent have a problum with it.

Oh and check out the H.E.M.P forum. Make sure you post in my requritment file if you sign up :ghillie:(cyrus-the-virus)

If u want to become a true sniper u wont want to be right in the middle...if this is your true "Obbsession" than u wull want something like the Tippmann 98 / A5 with a flatline. The A5 Shoots at a faster rate. Or u could go with the Special Ops Sniper Rifle... I forget what it is called...that is what I am Saving for!!

P.S. Anyone in Ontario close to Peterborough wanna start a team???

Well if your going for sn, marksman ( I hate the word sniper). Then I suggest somthing like a cocker, or a mag or anything that isn't blowback. It will cut down on your sound. Avoid anything like a tippmann with flatline, not percise and loud. Look at a PPS Blazer or a Karnivor cocker, or if you want to take the fun route a Phantom. I have a Phantom and it's really quite and percise with just the stock barrel.

Hope any of this babbaling helps
