I've heard from several people that Spray paint makes plastics brittle.
I am amazed that I spend countless hours on this site yet only post during a small percentage of that time.
Poor newb in need of pumpy goodness. Donations greatly enjoyed!

not quite, I left the inside of the barrel (orange part) orange, so if I take it to a field or something I won't get in trouble. I haven't noticed any change in it's consistency, it's not brittle, but it's plastic, so it'll only survive a fall from so far.

:panzer: clear coat?

I'll specify, this was just a 5 dollar project, I only used sandpaper, white krylon, and some silver spray paint..... the white grips have started to fade where the oil on my hands goes, so should I have used it before? or after....

oops...

and the whole outside has to be orange? guess I'll just play with it at home....

The part that was orange, has to be orange again. Clear goes on over paint. Usually a couple coats...
