All music has something that can be taken from it.

But I love hip hop and rock the most.

Better yet, I like bands that combine genres -- like Rage combining rap and rock or the Beastie Boys combining hip hop and punk. Chili Peppers too. No nu-metal crap though. Some is OK, most is trash.

Word dude. I love it when bands combine genres! The Bloody Beetroots do it with electronic and classical. Phoenix and Miike Snow do it w/ electro and rock. Love the mixed genre sounds.

Well they have 3 EP's out, and one LP called Romborama. It's technically their first album. They also have like a hundred remixes on the internet. Mediafire.com has a lot of them. You can check their myspace too. TheBloodyBeetroots

man, I couldn't even begin to answer that question.... the group on my top-played list right now is called "Balkan Beat Box," I guess they're mostly hip-hop but it's a sick fusion of all kinds of junk.... I listen to classical and soundtracks a lot, and world music in general. If it sounds original, and it's quality, I'll probably listen to it.

... country sucks ...

EBM which falls under "electronica" even though the genre itself predates "electronica" by years.

Rock. Shinedown, Nickelback and Disturbed (wouldn't they be more metal, though?) are my favorites.
