He needs a least 30 people to make it a decent price for the bus rental.

Lately I've found that with the constant boredom of this cold snap I'm really jonsing for a game. Me and the fellas were talking about taking a trip to sgt splatters in TO next month and figured there are probably lots of other guys out there that would to tag along as well.

So here's a little querry to find out how many interested parties there are around kingston. If there are enough I'd organize a coach bus from mccoy. We'd all travel together play the four hours then trip back. Total time would be about 12 hours give or take and the preliminary math shared up equally would put it at about $65 per person (return bus and field fees, everyone would be on the hook themselves for paint etc.). The tentative date would be the 3rd saturday in Feb.

So post up below and if we get enough sign ups then we all get to blow off the cobwebs before the spring games start up at the B&B field. You know you don't want to be rusty on the first day

If you rent Sgt Splatter's gear paint prices are:

* 100 Paintballs - $15.00.
* 2000 Paintballs - $240.00 (only $12.00 per hundred!).
* 6000 Paintballs - $600.00 (the cheapest rate, only $10.00 per hundred!).

Paint prices for gun owners are as follows:

* 100 Paintballs - $10.00.
* 1000 Paintballs - $90.00.
* 2000 Paintballs - $160.00.

Obviously there are still some details to be worked out but it could be fun if enough people are wanting to go.

Sgt. Splatters paint prices are soooooo over priced. Even on half price days, its $150/case. How that works out still baffles me.

I reccomend that you guys go on a sunday morning, its BYOP and theres usually a better group of people.

Since I'm not organizing it, it's not my call. I do agree that the prices are steep but the payments on an indoor facility that size in Toronto are probably just as bad.

I just don't get the half price part... I mean even Next, a better kept indoor field just outside of Toronto has legitimate half price which is $75/case instead of the normal $150/case, which at least makes it affordable. Though, Next has BYOP almost any day (unless its really busy) but you pay more for entrance and can only play with others playing BYOP.

And of course I gotta look after the little one that weekend, plus work.

Guess it's another weekend of room clearing dry runs.
