It's been the missing link for ions since 05 IMO. BoB ftw.

I havent used the kit to change it but I do use an XE and it is great. 2 mins. to lube the bolt and that is it. Just unscrew the back bolt and it really is that simple. I got the XE when it came out. the kit looks good imo. More agressive than the original Ion body. The body is very easy also for complete disasembly. Also the qev does not require any mod to fit and for dissasembly that is great. I would deffinatley change to a BOB why wouldnt you if you had to spend the money anyway. Great gun design in my opinion. Hope this helps.

There was a kid on the field with one and he started to screw in a co2 tank in it because his HPA tank wasn't working or something IDK. I told him not to but he said that in the manual he could. so, can the XE run on Co2?

sorry to bring this back but to answer your question with co2 on a ion, if you use a Anti-siphon kit inside your co2 bottle then you will be able to run a ion on c02 otherwise the liquid inside the bottle could get inside the internals of the marker and freeze up and it would not be good.
