Okay, Pod packs and harnesses, not reliable. SO vests WAYYYY too expensive. Go kin between. That's what I want. I was thinking a M.O.L.L.E vest, with the folowing:

:ninja: (2) Double 100 rnd pouch
:ninja: (1) Canteen + (1) Cover
:ninja: (1) 140 rnd pouch
:ninja: (1) Dump Pouch

That is still about $100 under SO vests with that gear.

You wouldn't need a dump pouch really. You need to look at lil'c post of the cheap way to build your molle vest. Comes out to around $50.

The dump pouch is for nades and E-Pods. Could you give me that link, too? Right now I have stuff scattered around my hip. Once, it took 3 minutes just to find my pod pack. But I think this loadout is good.
Again, give me linkage!

Hey, can't find link, but i can give you the run down. The website these things were bought from is cheaperthandirt.com

1) The Vest Base

Don't: OE MOLLE Tactical Vest from Airsoft GI, $50
Do: MOLLE Tactical Vest from Cheaper Than Dirt, $20
This is the EXACT same product for $30 less. Period.

2) Tank Pouch

Don't: MOLLE Tank Pouch from Opsgear, $25
Do: MOLLE Canteen Pouch from US Cavalry, $9
Did you know that a lot of "tank pouches" are really just military 1-quart canteen pouches? They will fit 45CI and 68CI bottles easily, and 70CI stubby tanks fit perfectly. Big 88CI and larger bottles are a stretch, depending upon the exact model of pouch and tank -- some combinations work and some don't, but the Y-strap can be lengthened to fit big tanks for less than a dollar if you happen to be handy with a needle and thead.

3) Pod Pouches

Don't: Double 100-Round Pod Pouch from Opsgear, pair for $34
Do: Tru-Spec 100-Round SAW Pouch from VT Army-Navy, pair for $26
There are many, many cheap options for holding paintball pods. Any pouch that holds three M4 rifle magazines will hold a 100-round paintball pod, and any pouch that holds five M4 mags will hold two 100s. I found big Velcro-fastening MOLLE pouches in ACU digital camo that hold three 100-rounders for just $11 at my local surplus store. Measure your gear dimensions and then shop around!

The bottom line...

MOLLE paintball vest sourced from paintball vendors = $109
Ghetto Paintball Warrior's end-run pricing = $55

That's almost a 50% savings if you know where to look!

Well, now YOU know where to look!

PS: Vests and pouches are not the only tactical gear on which you can save big bucks. Pistol belts, drop-leg platforms, and other MOLLE gear are all available out there at competitive prices. Just look.

The OPSGEAR MOLLE pod pouches are top of the line! I own them and they are durable and well made. They have a velcro closure and a buckle closure on each pouch.

I recommend them highly!!!

Ghetto Molle

ebay, ranger joe's clearance, opsgear clearance, live close to army or marine base?, some army/navy surplus don't have molle like the ones in Delaware. Any thing else, yes, but not much of squat on molle and it is much more expensive then Opsgear.

I personally have spent over 300 bucks on varrious molle stuff and found that many of them are not worth it. I can't stand to use 50 and 100 round pods all the time. Warsensor, HA their pod packs are cheap but no one has them for 140 rounds. Granted I spent 54 bucks to get two of my 2+1 from SO and 50 bucks on the first two 2+1s but they are well worth it to have them in one week as to the 2 to 3 month back order from warsensor.

I now have two molle vest and one holds <1000 rounds and 5 nades the other carries over 2000 rounds and upto 10 nades. Many of the pouches I have gotten rid of for being worthless to me.

I would also recomend Opsgear. I bought a vest from there and its perfect for a Broadsword. 6 100 rd pouches, 2 multi-purpose pouches and MOLLE on the back for a tank bag or anything else you could think of to put on your back. :dodgy:
Your sig sucks.
