I would say Proto, but that's only because I have actually used one. I haven't used a Nerve, so I can't really say which is better.

I haven't actually used either, just seen them used at my local field. It looked like the nerve might have been a little easier to use but I really liked how the Proto's worked. All I have to say is very very fast.

No idea but would you like to know a nice fix? Buy bright paint at all times, almost all field paints are bright and so if you play there your fine. If you want to play outlaw (granted a nerve is a lot of marker for outlaw ball), just buy bright shell...then it won't have issues.

Outdated? Hmmm. I don't agree with you there, but I do think it is BB. The Shocker wasn't BB until the ND Shocker.

Went to SP web site and they are calling it a vision mode. Doesn't mean BB, but I thought that was one of their selling points was it was BB. I just read the APG article on the Nerve and I was wrong, there, I said it. :o It has BB (Bounce Beam), but not break beam. My bad.

Thats pretty much the only thing a stock Ion has on a stock nerve...the break eye beams are overall a better vision system.
