I installed the deadly wind bolt on my dad's and I must say, that thing is light. The gun shoots like my (or used to be mine) PM6. There is really nothing he can do to increse performance.

CP medium reg
APE board
Clippard QEV
Deadly Wind hollowpoint
CP ASA
ANS body
SP Q-lock feedneck
SP full freak

It shoots arrows.

So, what is your favorite upgrade.
You have failed as a paintballer.

Feedneck.....ANY feedneck is better than the Ion stock piece. Currently using a Redz clamping neck - no issues at all.
If you only buy ONE mod for your Ion - this is it.
Otherwise THIS (see pic) could happen to you...[IMG] [img]http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n30/inkspitter/Paintball/feedneck.jpg

What happened...
I had just gotten a new hopper (evo2) and it was a little large for the stock feedneck. So I sanded it down a bit untill I could twist it on - tough, but not impossible. I actually thought that this would be a good thing, since with previous setups on different guns I had issues with hoppers falling off at...inconvenient moments.
The problem this time - I couldnt get it off at all. Twisting, bending, vice clamps, bench vice - nada. For almost 2 weeks that hopper sat on my desk with the neck still attached & I'd fiddle around with it when I got bored. Finally I just snapped & grabbed a hacksaw & made a few cuts right thru the neck...and it still wouldnt come off. :D  Finally I had to cut 2 whole sections completely off the neck, pulled out the o-rings with pliers and cut ANOTHER section off...and at last, victory was mine. B)

Then I smoked a cigarette, went back in the house & ordered a new feedneck from Action Village.
Funny thing - nothing on that gun has broken, stuck or jammed since. I think its afraid of me now.

Gotta agree with stuntman on this one. I have a Lapco feedneck on my Ion, along with a lot of other upgrades, and it works like a charm. At least way better than the stock one.
