Speedball, definetly, but in woodsball its your choice. Since most people see woodsball as the more war-like part of paintball, most people like to play only fatal shots count. Such as below the knee, and below the elbows doesn't count. A little trick you can do while under fire, is put your gun in front of you. :D Its all preference for woodsball.

everything counts, thats my opinion, keeps it fair, the enemy only knows they hit you, not where, and its just easier to judge

Gun hits count, doesn't matter if its woods or speed. Paintball is paintball, rules are rules...

All hits should count. Especially in Speedball, your profile is so small, and your marker/hopper is most of it. Woodsball, I still think should count. It discourages blindshooting in newbs. I like the fatal shots kill you, below elbows or knees needs a medic.

Now look at it this way, in woodsball you're "acting out" a war. In real life does a gun hit kill you? No, well it could, but that would be extremely bad luck and nothing else. I think this should apply to Speedball too.

Yes, in my oppion if the gun didn't count everyone would be blind shooting so their gun can get shot up all they want and th eplayer wouldn't even have to stick out your head, some rules say gun hits mean your out some don't, mostly oppinon

Speedball, most deffinately any hit on your body or gear should count.

Woodsball, i would leave it up to those playing if it is a walkon group or let the owner of the field decide. Possibly make the players be givin attention by a medic if they recieve a gun hit?

We personally don't play gun hits. Thats only the gun itself - as in hopper, barrel, main body, e.t.c...If a bullet hit the side of an m16 - it would probably richocete. The chances of it hitting square on the side, and actually screwing something up is highly unlikely.

Why call yourself out when your gun is shot? You wouldn't be dead in real life. Keep on fighting!
