What can I say about this movie?
- The 3D was well done and truthfully, after about 5 minutes you don't really notice anymore, and it truly enhances the experience.
- The scoring was extremely well done, and simply mind-blowing
- The movie as a fictional work, is believable, and masterfully executed, including a rich plot and very engaging visuals

Criticism:
The only real nitpick I have about this movie was that using logic I was able to work out most of the major plot points ahead of time, but really, this is one of the movie's strengths as it STILL managed to leave me with my jaw on the floor regardless.

Definitely go and SEE THIS MOVIE. No matter what hype or criticisms you've heard (including mine), you should go and see it anyway, as I can guarantee you'll not regret it.

You can see it all coming, but it doesn't matter. It's presented well.

I really want to see more about Na'vi society now.

I know what you mean and I really hope that there are other sequels. However, I'm thinking about the realation of time spent vs. quality of the movie. I'd love to see another Avatar movie within hopefully the next 3 years, but for it to match the quality and epic-ness of the first one, it might take another decade-and-a-half, considering that was about how long the original took from idea to finished product.

That was due to the new technology though. Once your base is made, things can happen much more quickly.

July 2, 2010 "The Last Airbender" is scheduled to hit the screen. M. Night Shyamalan wrote and directed it. It's live action too...

I thought the same thing, my friends proceeded to rip my face off for saying that. So now they say I have to see it.

I'm looking forward to The Last Airbender too, though I'm sure it won't be as epic as Avatar. :panzer:

This. Now that the technology is there (and there's a studio that's all practiced-up on using it), Cameron could pump out "Avatar 2" in, like, no time flat.

... what it would be about, I've got no idea. They kinda closed the story last time...

Yeah, I have no idea what would really be going on either. You kind of got the entire story right there.

Sometimes, things are just best left alone.
