I want to buy a lasoya or regular promaster. What are the upgrades that I need? of course an hpa tank. what kind of hopper do I need? probably getting an apex barrel because I play woodsball.

I have heard good things about the Revolution (Revvy) hopper. Not too expensive either.

Revy is nice, but you might outshoot it. Just get a Halo B or VLocity or Pulse if you can find it.

For ups, new barrel. Apex is alright, but I don't like them. Otherwise, don't spend too much money upping it.

ASA stands for air source adapter. Its what you screw your tank into. The rail is bolted to the bottem of your grip, and the asa is attached to the rail.

the only 'upgrade' you will need to purchase, by definition of the term
would possibly be a new HPR. ICD regulators arent the best. In order to use it, you will need to buy a rail, and on/off asa, along with a force feed hopper.

Apex barrel is a waste of money imo.... but you didnt ask about that.

With rails and asa's, If you own a gun that has one(like a duck bill one), then you can attach it to your promaster(you might nead a fitting if it doesnt have it).

I would definatly suggest getting a clamping feedneck. Also you may not want to upgrade the barrel the stock barrel on Promasters are pretty accurate.

I wouldn't get a drop forward right away. Get an ASA and see how it feels, the promaster is a fairly small gun for me personally a drop forward isn't nessecary. Leave the barrel alone ... that has nothing to do with my hate of the Apex lol. The stock barrel is well made, if your going to upgrade it go to a two piece, don't waste your money on the Apex.

The feedneck is something you NEED. It is suppose to be large enough to fit a halo but it seems pretty loose to me and if your using anything with a skinnier feed than a halo it isn't even going to stay in the feedneck. The Halo is a good choice for a hopper (or reloader, pukse, etc). Stay away from a Revvy ... the promaster can shoot fast and you will want to shoot faster than a revvy will feed. I'm partial to the Egg is you want something cheaper than a Halo .. and YES an egg will work on a promaster.

I know the apex is not a super accurate barrel, but when you are playing outdoors with a bunch of guys that like to camp, that extra distance or slight curve is very valuable.

If the evlution III is like the Egg at all then get a Halo B... for your own sake.

I want a promaster too, and after researching it, the only necessary upgrades are maybe a barrel and new regulator. After that, it's a very nice gun. Of course if you want speed, get a board and hopper to match with HPA. Really, all guns need the same uprgades once you think about it...

did I die for a second there?...
