ive played a couple games of paintball before and i loved it, so i decided to go ahead with the Spyder MR-1 (which is a great marker) and some other stuff to get me on my way. What is the best way to keep my gun in excellent shape and imporve as a scout/ sniper?
btw, is there an cool mods for the MR-1?

For matience a simple strip, wipe down, oil and lube should be good.

yea, Just Keep it cleaned out after everyday of play and keep it lubed so you don't break any o-rings. To be a good scout sniper just practice shooting alot with cans because if you can hit a can you can hit a person. Also check out the sniper thread for tactics that will be usefull. But for the mods I'm not really sure all i know of is triggers and a buttstock.

Sniper isnt a good postiton to start out right away. You've been sucked in to hype, just like almost every "sniper" out there.

Just play the game and dont conform yourself to a postion. Once you play more, youll figure out your style of play.

Weather in the army or in paintball, everyone starts out wanting to be a sniper for 2 reasons;

1: A sniper shoots while concealed, AKA he doesn't get shot much........

2: They're ""cool""(notice the quote, un-quote) and they don't get shot much........

The harsh reality of the matter is, most folks don't have what it takes to be a Sniper. Trust me, you have to have ALOT MORE than JUST patience.

God Bless,
Doc
