Well I received my X7 commando stock and attached it to my marker. There are some good and bad about it.

Good:
I like the length of the stock.
It feels very good and built solid.
I like the remote on the stock and the position of it.

Bad:
I bolted it on my marker and it still is lose. You can move it side to side. NOT GOOD.
There is a 1/16 gap between the stock and the marker where they connect.
Canít put a regulator in the stock.
There is no sling clip on the stock.

I really do like my X7 but there are some things I am disappointed about it. Iím a Tool & Die maker by trade so maybe Iím more critical about quality than others.

How bad does it move from side to side? I'm thinking about getting the folding and that might not be good news.

Bob,
I got one a few weeks ago. I too am somewhat disapointed. Mostly repeat of what you said.

Good:
I like the length of the stock.
It feels very good and built solid.
I like the remote on the stock and the position of it.

Bad:
There is a 1/16 gap between the stock and the marker where they connect. I used the rubber spacer after cutting it fit and this helped with the gap.
Canít put a regulator in the stock.
There is no sling clip on the stock.
It is way overpriced for what you get.
With my flex8 mask I have difficulty getting my head low enough on the stock to sight down the barrel.

I had the same problem with just a little wobble up and down but not side to side so what i did was use a little bit of my glue gun. That fixed all the wobble. It does not move at all now and you cant see the glue. Pretty sweet!

Did the stock not come with little rubber spacers to be placed in between the stock and the gun? My friend got the commando stock for his A5 and it too was wobbly but it came with spacers. These were put in and it eliminated the problem..

I have the stock. I think the stock is a little long persoanlly. But i like it.

It should have come with shims to stop the wiggle, little thin piece of rubber. Makes it fit perfect.

I agree no sling clip is a real pain... But you can easily put one in.

Regulators.. Just get one for the bottle side of your remote..
