Ummmm, OK??? I watched some their youtube stuff, and I must say that I'm tremendously NOT impressed! Of course I was turned off when the singer started screaming into the mic... I did catch some guitar riffs that sounded like something Metallica did.

Better... I'll give them this - they're not bad, in fact the guy on guitar is quite talented. It's just not quite the "sound" I like. To me it represents what a lot of todays music sounds like - a boy band voice with an edgy hard rock sound.

I will freely admit that I am biased towards "classic rock". I grew in a house where music from the 60's,70's, and 80's reined supreme... I like all kinds of music; rock, blues, jazz, old country, some rap, some hip hop, a fair amount of music from the 90's, but a lot of the music of today just doesn't catch my ear.

The biggest thing that turns me off about music - any music, is seemingly mindless screaming into the mic. I'm sure that it has it's reason though.

I will also say that being new a creative in todays music scene is hard. With almost 50 years of "rock" type music already recorded, theres not much that hasn't already been done. Bands today are taking cues (from other bands) that could be considered second or even third hand. So it's no wonder that groups are going in this direction. It simply hasn't been done so much. But like I said, it's just not a sound I'm fond of.
