Punted over to the Special Ops Field Discussions

Yes, it would be pretty expensive and time-consuming to do. Yes, many members and non-members would appreciate it very much. I know they get suggestions like this all the time, but here is a new suggestion, something that may be a little more feasible. How about if they just go to an established field in a particular region and hold a scenario game there? They could be their own scenario producer. Does that seem like some middle ground?

I like both ideas of just scenarios and Specops fields. I think they need to start doing lots of scenarios year round and find a good location to build a field. While constantly organizing sweet scenarios they could slowly build a field. Once it is complete then they build a new one somewhere else.

and it could be indoor and/or outdoor?

I think it could work indoor, but Specops focusses on woodsball which is outdoor.

If I was a big millionaire I would donate a couple million to spec ops for fields :D, but sadly, I'm not, lol. I would love to see spec ops fields, but their own scenarios would be the next best thing.

If I were a mllionaire, I'd build and operate my own field

What about " Spec Ops The World Series" ?
The winner of National Spec Ops meets the winners from other countries..

For example in France they have a big game called "Veckring"
Video from Veckring

And in Former East Germany, there's an old Soviet Air Base with a big game every year called "Mahlwinkel"
Video from Mahlvinkel

What about a United Nations (UN) paintball brigade?

Just something to think about.

Greetings from Norway

Here's an idea. Since the main problem with doing something like this would be how to get SpecOps to help out some fields, lets just use us brigade members so spread the word. SpecOps gives select brigade members around the country information to give out to their favorite fields, and since the fields are so blown away by the members sportsmanship and skill  that they might even give SO a call and see if they can get some help from the best. The fields could sell SO products so that us players don't have to buy from the internet all the time, and the fields could host more and better scenario games since SO actually knows what they're doing (i.e. Elite Weekend, it was perfect, my field's big games are mediocre at best). That's my two cents.

I think the idea is great. Add more exposure to the sport in a positive way. I am just glad I live near SpecOps, so I can enjoy everything they do locally.
