I tryed out the new 09 wranglers the other day... sick.
Let me say the new 3.8 V6 which is no longer an inline engine. is much much much quiter then most jeeps, especially in first gear around 2000 RPM.
the jeep doesnt have that lip by the door. and the new three peice cover top is really nice, now you only need one or two people for the hard top peices. rather then three or four.
But it was an automatic, so im sad I couldnt try manuel.

But the new engine acually raises the rev's so it red-lines at about 6500 and continues untill you screw up the engine at 8000. which I will never EVER reach....ever. I like my gas money thank you very much.
its a wee bit stiffer and sits a wee tad bit higher, so you have a better view. and its a wee tid bit wider aswell. and the 18'' rims look pretty awsome.

but its 21,000$ for cheepest you can go.

Hey figured I would look in here for some parts i'm looking for. I'm looking for any Long arm lift pieces for a 02 TJ. Also looking for a D44, and a ford 9 inch with disc brakes. Currie anti-rock and some high offset 17's or 18's. If anyone can help out, shoot me a message. Thanks!

I just got a Jeep. '98 with a 4.0 inline 6 and hardtop (manual of course). So far I'm in love, so much better than the Explorer I had.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for a safari/bikini top? I was looking at a Rampage brief/safari top and was wondering if they were good quality.

Man, this topic kind died out. Well, I figured I'd give y'all an update on my Jeep. I bought some Hercules Trail Digger tires and some new 15x7 rims so I'd have some offset, and went out to test it. This was the result. Pitiful, I know. Please dont laugh :P

This wouldn't have been so much of a problem, except my 4wheel drive has a nasty habit of either not engaging, or popping out within minutes of engagin. So essentially, my 4wd vehicle is 2wd until I can rebuild my transfer case (that's why I'm selling all of my paintball gear, fyi). This little thing I'm high centered on probably would have been passable if I had had 4wd and some more momentum.

still looks good but anything can get high centered with a huge hump like that, you need either shorter wheel base to(wrangler) or little bit higher lift and bigger tires.... sweet lookin jeep though and yes, i resurrected this, just had to. love my jeep
