Good stuff. I'd like to see another comparison in winter when the vegetation is brown, the leaves are gone and more light is transmitted to the forest floor.

Looks good. MARPAT seems to be doing better in most of the shots, but most of the hiding spots in this one are in the darker shade or against darker ground where the MARPAT does better. In the last test with the lighter scenes they did about equal, I think. Good testing so far.

Also, it's reviving the old aggressive vs. passive camouflage thing. Yes, MARPAT is definitely better suited to a dark woods environment, but Multicam does almost as well. But overall, in lots of different environments, light and dark, who wins? I think Multicam takes the prize overall, but MARPAT is quite good, and better for darker environments, just not as good overall.

exactly.. For deep green woods in th emiddle of summer.. Sure Marpat is a little bit better.. but Multicam still is prety close.

But for flexibility and to use Camo in a multitude of different environments such as urban, Desert, Fall, Winterish type conditions.. Multicam is by far better suited to adapt to the environment.

That is the reason I chose Multicam over Marpat.. because i don't just play in deep dark green woods only.

Pictures 22 to 24 are the best tests and number 26 proves the winner. multicam. Then again I'm incredibly bias for multicam.

In PA is the its the best. Terrific review and test. big props man.

I wonder what the army was thinking when they made ACU cammo.... I mean the old woodlen did better, I think ACU is more of an "Urban" cammo.
I like Tigger stripe and Marpat, they are good.... Multi cam is better, But Omnipat is probally the best agressive cammo... Yeah mossy oak is good but seriously... 99 percent of the people are to lazy to clime in a tree and its hard to excape (One way down).... That "Lava" cammo would be good for valcanos....But I think I would melt in there... But My Tippmann wont!!!! :usa:
