So, has anyone used the Airow Gun before? Was it worth buying? I think it looks great for intimidation alone (hopefully you know how to use it correctly too though). I've only found one on ebay and the price is a little steep...

I'd probably use a cheaper bow than that for it.

That looks friggin' insane. If I were a half decent archer I would definetelly pick one up...
"A bad day of paintball is one where I never get hit. If I don't look like I got date-raped by an octopus by the end of the day, thats a bad thing."

So you want to know why it's called an A5?

If I could assemble a new regulator for a paintball gun, I could build a liver. How hard could it be?

I'll bet you $10 the above post is telling you to buy an automag.

Why?

The bow string travels at approximately 300 FPS. On a 60# bow, it will propel a paintball at 270-300 FPS. And you can adjust it. I think it would be a blast... and not hard to chrono.

And with modern compound bows, "not pulling the string back as far" doesn't have much effect. They have a very large let-off zone and very low hold.

If you put this on a recurve bow... now thats a different story.

Shows you how much I know about Archery.. haven't used a bow since middle school. Haha. This would definitely be a fun way to get back into it.

I love archery. Unfortunately, the compound I use is OOLLLLDDD... 80# pull... The letoff is only like... 20-30 pounds and the letoff zone is really small. I get a good workout with it. I can probably fire about 75 precise shots and about 100 more decent shots before my arms turn to jello.

I only know 1 other person that has been able to pull it... My dad. All my buddies think it would be fun to pull the string on my bow since its just hanging in my room. Nope. They all grunt and put it away ashamed of themselves!

We I seen this thing for the first time today I went to a local archery shop to pick up a new co2 tank and he said look what I got in and friggen sweet but looks kinda big to lug around and $289 for it and thats not with a bow so that much $$$$ and 10 shots unless you put a bigger hopper on it I dunno.

But was def.. awesome looking would be great for a scenario or stock game

just think of how much $$$ youd save on tanks and air lmao

The recurves are really affected by how far you pull the string.

Phantoms cost $300ish....

If I get a really good paying job this summer, I will be getting a pawn-shop bow and an Airow!

That was my thought too. No need to invest in anything expensive. Unless you're going to make it a primary for some reason...

They did a mini-write-up in the last edition of Splat!. Thing would be awesome for scenario.
