This poll isn't just about freak versuses flatline but any 2 piece paint matching system to the flatline. What are your guy's thoughts on the issue.

The flatline might shoot farther but it is also a lot louder. It is also a lot harder to clean. I've used both.

The flatline is picky about paint, and there are issues about paint breaking at the longer distance. I would take the two piece because it is more versatile, which is more important since a lot of fields require you to use their paint.

Well I like to use the flatline for the A-5. It shoots farther and it's easy to clean. I love to use the flatline with newbies becuase they can't reach me, but I can reach them. :D
I once took out 4 newbies right after the other in one game because they couldnt reach me. :)

i like the flatline just because it shoots the distance, which allows, in the woods, to shoot so much further than any other barrel.

The A-5 flatline is not an accurate barrel

My friend has this barrel and i have probably fired over 1000 rnds through it

I have absolutely nothing against tippmann or the idea of the flatline

Granted you can hit somone farther away then other barrels can but the paint dosnt break at that range so it dosnt really matter. The trade off is accuracy for distance and accuracy absolutely $hits on distance for this case.

Also if you have the unfortune to break a ball the game is basically over for you. It is possiable to clean it on the field but you need to have an allen wrench and a few mins.

The cons outweigh the pros

spend the money on a barrel that will put paint on the target not just shoot far.

just my $0.02

I for one have a flatline and yes it makes the paint go further. But also it isnt accurate at those further distinces. also if paint breaks in it your f**ked cuz the only was to truly clean it out is to rinse it out. but it isnt a bad barrel but it is picky on paint. But it depends on what position you play if your a heavy rifleman then this barrel is for you because your just shooting every where anyway ( not to dis you guys). But if your a sniper (like me) then no i would go with the all-american barrrel. But there is one thing i dont understand about the all-american which is better the freak front (tear drop) or the all-american. I've looked every where for results and cant find s**t.
